This dataset contains single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) data from primary mouse intestinal subepithelial fibroblasts, generated to characterize the stromal heterogeneity relevant to epithelial repair mechanisms. The fibroblasts were isolated from intestinal tissue and cultured on plastic for 48 hours prior to library preparation using the 10x Genomics Chromium platform (v3 chemistry). The primary objective of this dataset is to identify transcriptionally distinct fibroblast subpopulations involved in coordinating epithelial migration and tissue integrity in vitro. These data support the study of physical and paracrine epithelial–stromal interactions during intestinal gap closure using a 2D co-culture model with organoid-derived epithelial monolayers.
Description:
This dataset contains single-cell RNA-sequencing data generated from intestinal subepithelial myofibroblasts (ISEMFs), collected as part of the MARTINEZELE_01 subproject. Sequencing was performed by CNAG-CRG using Illumina technology. The raw data files (.fastq.gz) include read pairs from one sample (AX0801) and are accompanied by MD5 checksums for integrity verification. A quality control report (MARTINEZELE_01_Sample_Stats.pdf) and summary spreadsheet (MARTINEZELE_01.xls) are also provided.
