The Economic Experts Survey (EES) is the most comprehensive global survey of economic experts. Established at the ifo Institute in 2022 as the successor to the World Economic Survey (WES), its aim is to capture experts’ assessments of economic policy and political developments in their home countries, as well as their views on topical issues in the public economic debate. Each quarter, the EES surveys more than 10,000 experts across over 120 countries, providing real-time insights into expert perspectives on current economic policy.
