Sequencing and assembly of the genomes of the two oyster species Crassostrea gasar and Crassostrea rhizophorae

The two species of oysters are economically important for both artisanal harvesting (Crassostrea rhizophorae) and aquaculture (Crassostrea gasar). Genome sequences will be important for studies of transcriptome and genetic variation in populations of organisms.
