Transcriptomic analysis of 11 embryonic development stages from the ornate spiny lobster, Panulirus ornatus aimed to provide improved characterisation of stages across embryogenesis. Gene expression analysis identified differentially expressed genes between the 11 stages to determine genetic differences to confirm staging methods and morphological changes occurring within the egg.
