Effect of sub-MICs of antibiotics on conjugation in gram-negative bacteria.

Sub-MICs of antibiotics increase conjugation when V. cholerae is the donor bacterial species. We performed a transcriptional screen in order to identify changes in the transcriptome of the donor, recipient and plasmid, when low doses of antibiotics are present.
