Contains perinatal death data from MIBio and control data from alive children from the MAMAH project. MIBio project, a multidisciplinary initiative focused on improving cause-of-death determination through minimally invasive tissue sampling (MITS) and advanced laboratory analyses in low-resource settings. The dataset includes detailed clinical, demographic, and postmortem information from mothers and perinatal deaths, alongside biomarker measurements obtained from maternal, placental, and foetal/neonatal blood samples. Additionally, control data were obtained from participants enrolled in the MAMAH project, a clinical trial evaluating malaria prevention strategies in pregnant women. This cohort provided maternal samples from uncomplicated live births, enabling comparative analysis of angiogenic biomarker levels between adverse and normal pregnancy outcomes.
