Raziskava obravnava kulturne prakse in razsežnosti ter ideološke pomene nekdanjih treh najbolj priljubljenih jugoslovanskih praznikov v sodobni Sloveniji. To so Dan mladosti (25. maj), Dan republike (29. november) in obletnica smrti Josipa Broza Tita (4. maj).

The study deals with cultural practices, dimensions, and ideological meanings of the three most popular former Yugoslav holidays in contemporary Slovenia. These are the Youth Day (25 May), the Day of the Republic (29 November) and the Anniversary of the Death of Josip Broz Tito (4 May). The purpose of the study was to determine, in what form these three former holidays are being celebrated today, and what kind of meanings and political consequences they have in the contemporary Slovene society. Within the study description, only a few pictures (n=9) and textual materials (n=29) that were used by the author in his research as a supplement to an in-depth analysis of other content regarding holidays mentioned by the author within the article »Jugoslovenija: Slavljenje nekdanjih jugoslovanskih praznikov v sodobni Sloveniji«, where he thoroughly presents the occurrence of events in Slovenia after its independence, are available.
