These images were acquired during expedition SO295 with the German research vessel SONNE in 2022 as part of the MiningImpact project that conducts an independent scientific monitoring and assessment of the environmental impacts of an industrial test of a polymetallic nodule collector vehicle in the Clarion Clipperton Zone. The images were acquired by RV SONNEs OFOS in the GER working area ~1.5 years after the collector trial. Mission goal: Image survey of the reference site at 1.5 m altitude. Mission was planned to follow the same path as during SO268. Mission comments: The distance between the laser points is 40 cm. The exact coordinates for each image are uncertain as the USBL positioning data was incorrect during the entire dive transect.
