Quantification of Plasmopara viticola oospores in soil and their spatial distribution in a vineyard

This dataset contains data from a study on the quantification of primary inoculum of downy mildew in the soil of a vineyard (located in Villenave d'Ornon, France). Soil samples (n=318) were taken from the plot in March 2022, then analyzed by ddPCR (n=318) and subjected to a bioassay (n=40). At the same time, a second series of soil samples (n=24) was taken in the plot at different depths and analyzed by ddPCR. The location of the samples in the plot is specified.
