The main aim of the present paper is the edition of the Sanskrit text of the Sopadhikā Bhūmiḥ (SopBh) and the Nirupadhikā Bhūmiḥ (NirBh), the last two chapters of the “Basic Section” of the Yogācārabhūmi (which is referred to as Maulī Bhūmiḥ in the Viniścayasaṃgrahaṇī). The primary basis of this edition is a copy of the photos taken by R. Sāṅkṛtyāyana in the monastery of Sa skya, Tibet, in 1936, of a Sanskrit manuscript containing the whole “Basic Section” of the Yogācārabhūmi except Śrāvaka- and Bodhisattvabhūmi. The film negatives are among the materials now in the possession of the Bihar Research Society, Patna.
