Radio Frequency Techniques for Final State Kinetics Measurements of Radical Systems

Radio Frequency muon spin resonance (RF μSR) provides a unique method for characterising paramagnetic final state species, potentially enabling chemical kinetics of radical formation to be studied. Unfortunately the essential experimental methods remain poorly developed. This proposal aims to develop two alternative RF techniques for obtaining quantitative data for the formation of a final state radical species through the measurement of a simple model system.
