The data belongs to the contribution "Influence of disruptive design changes of a hammer drill on user posture and muscle stress - An exploratory study"
Rack, R.; Sutschet, S., Bengler, K.; Matthiesen, S.
The data consists of:
1. mean values of joint angles and handle interaction forces (grip and push force) over time and RMS values of muscle activation for each drilling measurement for 3 subjects, categorized into handle configurations (handle position & orientations was varied)
2. Median and 1st & 3rd quartile values of joint angles and muscle activation across the 3 subjects and its graphical illustration (plots) showing deviations of joint angles and muscle activation of the shoulder-arm system (plots uploaded are an addition to the results of the paper mentioned above)
The data belongs to the contribution "Influence of disruptive design changes of a hammer drill on user posture and muscle stress - An exploratory study"
Rack, R.; Sutschet, S., Bengler, K.; Matthiesen, S.
The dataset contains:
- .xslx-files:
a. mean joint angles (shoulder abduction / adduction, shoulder flexion / extension, shoulder rotation, elbow flexion /
extension, elbow rotation, wrist abduction / adduction, wrist flexion / extension), force data (grip and push forces at
the hammer drill main and side handle) and RMS of muscle activation (deltoid anterior, deltoid lateral, deltoid
posterior, trapezius, biceps, triceps, flexor carpi radialis, extensor carpi radialis) over time per drilling measurement,
for 3 subjects,, 3 drilling measurement per handle configuration
b. median, 1st & 3rd quartile values joint angles, handle forces, muscle activation across all subjects for each hammer
drill handle configuration
- .png-files: Graphical illustration of data (1b), as an addition to the results shown in the paper mention above
