(Table 2) Nd isotopic compositions of foraminifera from DSDP Hole 39-357

DOI

143Nd/144Nd ratios were normalised to a 146Nd/144Nd ratio of 0.7219. The La Jolla standard yielded a 143Nd/144Nd ratio of 0.511901+/-0.000014. 148Nd/144Nd ratios were also measured to check for any systematic mass spectrometer bias. e-Nd(0) were computed using the expression given by DePaolo and Waserburg [DePaolo D.J., Wasserburg G.J. (1976) Nd isotopes variations and petrogenic models, Geophys. Res. Lett. 3, 249-252] relative to a 143Nd/144Nd ratio of 0.512638 for the present day chondritic uniform reservoir (Jacobsen, Wasserburg, 1980; doi:10.1016/0012-821X(80)90125-9).
