The complete chloroplast genome sequence of Aleurites moluccana

Aleurites moluccana (L.) Willd., native to the Indo-Malaya region, is a plant in Euphorbiaceae with great potential in bioenergy. In this study, we reported the complete chloroplast (cp) genome of A. moluccana. assembled by Illumina sequencing platform. The total length of the cp genome is 151,925 bp, consisting of two inverted repeat regions (IR, 26748 bp), one large single-copy region (LSC, 91,685 bp), and one small single-copy region (SSC, 18,501 bp). A total of 135 genes were annotated for the chloroplast genome, including 88 protein coding genes, 37 tRNAs and eight rRNAs. According to phylogenetic analysis, A. moluccana is closely related to Deutzianthus tonkinensis.
