This dataset contains an extended SST record based on alkenone from MD02-2529 core covering the last 285 ka (Rincón-Martínez et al., 2010, Paleoceanography), with a high-resolution Holocene record superseding for that period the lower resolution published in Leduc et al., 2007, Nature.
