We measured stable isotope and Mg/Ca ratio of planktonic foraminifera species Globorotalia tumida and Globorotalia crassaformis from IODP Site 363-U1489. Stable isotope measurements were conducted using a Finnigan MAT253 mass spectrometer at the State Key Laboratory of Marine Geology, Tongji University, and Mg/Ca analyses were performed using an Agilent 5110 ICP-OES at the Marine Element Analysis Laboratory, Department of Geology, Northwest University. A total of 331 samples were collected from IODP Site 363-U1489 at intervals of approximately 5 cm from the upper 15.31 m core composite depth below seafloor (CCSF). The age model of the upper 15.31 m CCSF at IODP Site 363-U1489 is based on the high-resolution G. ruber δ18O records (Dang et al., 2024; doi:10.1016/j.palaeo.2024.112396 ), which corresponds to ~670 ka with a time resolution of ~2 kyr.
