Raw analytical data obtained from an experimental trial in which we investigated the regulation of the Gh/Igf axis by selected amino acids (AAs) in gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata) using complementary experimental approaches, including an in vivo assay by intraperitoneal injection, as well as ex vivo incubations of hemipituitary glands and in vitro of isolated hepatocytes. Data include the levels of Gh and Igf1 in both the plasma of injected fish and in the culture media of incubated hemipituitary glands, as well as gene expression analysis of isolated hepatocytes.
