Data points for figures of the research paper "On a Scalable Path for Multimode SDM Transmission". File format: '.csv (comma-separated values)'. Use a standard text editor or spreadsheet program to visualize the data. The name of the files was defined according to the figures in the paper. Please see below a brief description of the files:Fig3_PMs_GD_vs_PMIndex: Group Delay Spread: Evolution of the group delay (GD) spread across different groups of transmitted principal modes. Each column contains the group delays for a given group of transmitted principal modes. Group delay are sorted in ascending order. This file can be used to reproduce Fig. 3.Fig4a_Fig4b_PMs_XT_f_vs_PMindex0.01s - 10s: These files contain the XT values for each principal mode and modified principal mode, for channels with a drift of 0.01-10s. These files can be used to generate Figs. 4(a) and 4(b).Fig4c_PMs_Inter_vs_PMindex0.01 - 10s: These files contain the number of interfering terms for each principal mode under channels with a drift of 0.01-10s. These files can be used to generate Figs. 4(c), and correspond to the same simulation scenarios used to obtain Figs. 4(a) and 4(b).Fig6_MISOarray_PMindex_tau_env_1_to_0.01_NModes_82PMs: Multiple-input Single-Output array size to guarantee a target SNR of 24 dB under different channel drift conditions when 82 principal modes are transmitted. Each column represents the array size for a given channel drift condition. The values are sorted in ascending order. This file can be used to reproduce Fig. 6.Fig5_PMs_vs_MPMs_tau_env_0.1: Average SNR as a function of the equaliser array size for principal modes and modified principal modes. This file contains results for different numbers of transmitted principal modes, ranging from 22 to 144 principal modes. It allows full reproduction of Fig. 5.Fig6_MISOarray_PMindex_tau_env_1_to_0.01_NModes_144PMs: Multiple-input Single-Output array size to guarantee a target SNR of 24 dB under different channel drift conditions when 144 principal modes are transmitted. Each column represents the array size for a given channel drift condition. The values are sorted in ascending order. This file can be used to reproduce Fig. 6.Fig7_TotalCapacity_vs_NormalisedMISO: Throughput as a function of normalised equaliser array size for different groups of transmitted principal modes, ranging from 22 to 144. A channel drift condition of 0.1s was considered. This file allows full reproduction of Fig. 7.
