This dataset comprises drone-based photogrammetry derived snow depth (SD) measurements collected in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Spain, in February 2024. Data are provided in a 2 m spatial grid, divided into five datasets of equal size. The vertical accuracy varies depending on the measurement technique; for drone-based photogrammetry, the vertical resolution is approximately 0.03 m. Data quality control involved the removal of all NoData values and SD measurements outside the physical range [0, 6] m. The dataset presented here corresponds specifically to the Barranco de San Juan sector and was acquired by the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (IPE-CSIC).
