marine 16S rRNA gene sequencing

To fully understand the how deep sea cold seep is formed, we designed artificial equipment that can continuously erupt methane and drop it on a 1000-meter deep-sea floor of the South China Sea. After three months, we recovered and collected seawater and sediment samples from the equipment and did 16S sequencing to detect which microbe are enriched.
