All analytical data were attained from a sediment core taken in Übeschisee (46°44′ 04'' N, 07°33′ 54'' E, 641 m.a.s.l.); a shallow (17.7 m deep) kettle hole lake on the Swiss plateau. The data was collected to get a comprehensive understanding of the interaction between, algal communities, anoxia, temperature and total trophic productivity. The table contains all low resolution data accompanying Schmidhauser et al., 2026 (in prep), including sequentially extracted fractions of P, Fe and Mn, pigment measurements, pollen and CNS data on a 1-cm resolution. Pigment data includes both photopigments (e.g. Chl-a etc.) and carotenoid biomarkers (e.g. Alloxanthin). All the data were measured between October 2023-June 2024 on UBE22-1e, using ICP-MS for the sequentially extracted fractions and HPLC-DAD for the pigment measurements. The age spans 17 ka BP - 11 ka BP. The age - depth relationship is established by bayesian modeling of 9 14C dates, 1 tephra and 5 biostratigraphical markers.
