DOI

The present study describes three new species of the sponge genus Oscarella from the Southwestern Atlantic. The specimens were collected manually by divers from March 2012 to November 2016 in Cabo Frio and Armação de Búzios, Rio de Janeiro State, Southeast Brazil. The specimens were examined through an integrative taxonomic approach combining morphological, anatomical, cytological, microbiological, genetic, reproductive and ecological data for species delimitation.
