Sea turtle bycatch in Spain: results from interviews to fishermen conducted in 2022 and 2023

The data set includes the results of the interviews to Spanish fishermen conducted in 2022 and 2023 to assess the bycatch of hard-shelled sea turtles in the Spanish Economic Exclusive Zone in the Mediterranean Sea. Each line corresponds to an interview and includes information about boat type, fishing ground and number of bycaught turtles during the previous year (2021 or 2022).
