Juvenile and Mature Giant Kelp Microbiomes Across All Depths

The samples for this project were collected from Arroyo Quemado reef in the Santa Barbara Channel. The microbiome samples come from juvenile or mature giant kelp blades that are in the surface canopy, middle of the water column, or bottom (benthic) region.
