The data presented correspond to an experiment conducted with rodents (transgènic mice obtained from Charles River as an importer and originally from te Jackson Laboratory). Humanized apoE3 (JAX Stock No. 029018) and apoE4 (JAX Stock No. 027894) target-replacement mice were obtained from The Jackson Laboratory (Bar Harbor, Maine, USA). Mice were breded at our installations (Animal Room at the School of Medicine in Reus, Universitat Rovira i Virgili). Mice were exposed to a concentration of 200 µg/kg/day of PM10 dissolved in Saline and nebulized during one hour to ensure whole body exposition . Exposed animals were evaluated from birth to adolescence for developmental landmarks (body weihgt, eye opening, motor coordination) and sexual maturation. Gene expresion in brain was assessed after exposure at Postnatal Day 14.
Data files included contain data for the postnatal monitoring of pups (body weight, eye opening, motor coordination and sexual maturation) and for gene expression ( in forebrain and cerebellum of pups at postnatal day 14 collected two hours after exposure tp PM10
