Purpose: To compare the academic outcomes of 1160 medical students in the anatomy of the human digestive system module, in topics studied face-to-face and online.

Nature: Quantitative grades and quartile rankings.

Scope of the dataset: Grades from four consecutive courses with the same topics, teachers, online resources, and type of assessment.
