From structure to function: predicting mass transfer in cellulose-based multilayer packaging materials

DOI

Dataset related to the article "From structure to function: predicting mass transfer in cellulose-based multilayer packaging materials". It contains 2 excel files and 8 pictures.

File name: MODELS_Results. This file contains all modelled data for the prediction of oxygen and water barrier properties of PHBV-laminated cardboards (CC) and the impregnated layer (i).

File name: OVERVIEW_Raw results. This file contains all data results of thickness, oxygen and water vapor barrier characterizations performed for PHBV-laminated cardboards and their control PHBV films and uncoated cardboards.

Files name: S1_CC_Zone1; S1_CC_Zone2; S2_CC_Zone1; S2_CC_Zone2; S3_CC_Zone1; S3_CC_Zone2; S4_CC_Zone1; S4_CC_Zone2. These files are cross-sections images from SEM observations of PHBV-laminated cardboards of different structures (S1 to S4). Two heterogeneous zones were identified by the naked-eye and were observed by SEM (Zone1 and Zone2).
