Particulate absorption during POLARSTERN cruise ANT-XXIV/1 (PS71)

DOI

Light absorption of particles was measured on water samples from surface water collected as described in Bracher et al. (2015) for HPLC samples and analysed as described in Röttgers et al. (2014) following Röttgers and Gehnke (2012). However, we used as dual-beam UV/VIS spectrophotometer a Cary 4000 (Varian Inc., USA) with a spectral range: 300-850 nm, FWHM: 2 nm, wavelength resolution: 1 nm equipped 176 with a 150 mm integrating sphere instead. Data were presented in the publication by Röttgers et al. 2014.
