CryoEM imaging of the plant iron transporter IRT1

DOI

We would like to image a small membrane transporter named IRT1 by cryoEM. This metal transporter from plants has been investigated in our labs (IBS + Grégory Vert in Toulouse + Guillaume Lenoir in Saclay) for quite some time. We have progressed to the point where a session on a high-end microscope would be beneficial to know if we can solve the structure of the best construct we currently have, a fusion between IRT1 and the fluorescent protein mCitrine.
