High frequency (5 Hz) time series of turbulence, pH, and dissolved oxygen measured over seagrass meadows (<15 m depth) near CO2 vents at the Island of Ischia, Italy for aquatic eddy covariance flux calculations. The data were collected in September of 2020 at two seagrass meadows. One, the CO2 vent meadow was located 40 m from the Chiane Del Lume vent. The control meadow was located 670 m to the north. Just over 30 hours of data are included from each meadow. The turbulence data were collected with an acoustic Doppler velocimeter. Dissolved oxygen and pH were collected with an optode minisensor and a custom ISFET sensor, respectively. Observations were made at a height of 65 cm above seagrass meadow canopies (a total of 115 cm above the seafloor).
