Identification of Genes Regulated by 20-Hydroxyecdysone in Macrobrachium nipponense through Comparative Transcriptomic Analysis

M. nipponense, a economic value freshwater prawn in China. Its reproductive molt, which is crucial for seedling rearing, directly impacts the industry's economic efficiency. 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E), the initiator of molting, controls various physiological behaviors in crustaceans. In M. nipponense, 20E plays a vital role in regulating molting and oviposition, as demonstrated by previous studies. However, there is still limited research on the molecular mechanisms underlying the reproductive molt and 20E in M. nipponense.
