Distribution of dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP) degradation genes reflect-ed strong water current dependencies in the Sanriku Costal area of Japan: from mesocosm to field study

To reveal the role of bacteria in the regulation of DMSP degradation and DMS production, mesocosm and field study were performed in Sanriku Coast off Pacific Ocean in northeast Japan.
