Stimuli_press_flattens_playdoh_objects

DOI

This set of video files was used as stimuli in an elicitation task on German Sign Language (DGS) eliciting bimanual classifier constructions that either conform to Battison's (1978) Dominance Condition ('touch' condition), or they don't ('noTouch' condition). Each video shows a specific type of caused change-of-state event: A metal press lowers down onto an object made from playdoh. In half the videos, the press touches the object while flattening it (uneven numbers 1-99), in the other half, the press lowers and the object flattens, but a space between both is maintained (even numbers 2-100).
