Neutron Compton scattering (NCS) results will be obtained from the two super proton conductors (H3O)SbTeO6 and Rb3H(SO4)2, both powders. To facilitate direct comparison of results, it is essential to use the same instrumental set-up. Extending our recent results (RB 820131 29/09-4/10/2008), two more temperatures will be investigated (T=70 K and T=350 K), and (H3O)SbTeO6 at room temperature (originally planned for the first experiment). The momentum distributions of protons in both materials will be determined and compared with each other. Connection with predictions of existing theoretical models will be done. In addition to our surprising results obtained a T= 10 K, novel insights into the quantum dynamics of protons, and the mechanism of proton transfer, in super proton conductors may be expected.
