Soil moisture at Zackenberg valley, NE Greenland, July to August 2013

In July and August 2013, soil moisture (VWC %) was measured at Zackenberg valley, NE Greenland, at nearly 6000 points. The measurements were conducted with a Hydrosense 2 Water content sensor with 12 cm rods (CS659). Many locations were revisited and measured again after some days / weeks. In general, it was a dry year at Zackenberg valley, no rainfall occurred within the time period of all soil moisture measurements.
