BACTERIAL AND ARCHAEAL COMMUNITIES FROM SOUTHERN GULF OF MEXICO SEDIMENTS

In this work we assessed the prokaryotic communities in marine sediments from the Southern Gulf of Mexico by barcoded 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Samples were collected in September of 2015 along a transect representing a variety of hydrocarbon and heavy metals pollution levels.
