Sex-specific mosquito brain transcriptomes

We sequenced sex-specific brain transcriptomes of 5 mosquito species- 3 blood feeding (Ae. aegypti, An. gambiae, Cx. quinquefasciatus), and 2 non-blood-feeding (Tx. amboinensis, Wy. smithii), with the goal of improving genome annotations and generating de novo assemblies to analyze sex-specific splicing across mosquitoes.
