The Excel file contains the raw data for this article. It is organised per figure panel.
Figure 1B: contains the data for communal egg-laying preference, ranging from avoidance (0), based on whether eggs were laid on side A (pheromones) or side B (solvent).
Figure S1A: provides the raw data on the total number of eggs per line and replicate.
Figure 2B: contains the data for the time to laying of the first egg in a group.
Figure 2C: shows the percentage of first eggs laid at night (0 indicates day and 1 indicates night).
Figure 2E: compares egg-laying latency between single-housed and group-housed females. For each tested line, the data are on the same row. Single flies are in cells C2-AG, and grouped flies are in cells AP-CB.
Figure S2B: shows the total number of eggs laid during the 24 hours of the experiment.
Figure 3B: represents the total number of social interactions per line and per replicate.
Figure 3C: represents the total duration of social interactions per line and per replicate.
Figure 5A: presents locomotor speed per line and per replicate.
Figure 5B: presents the time spent in the center of the arena per line and per replicate.
There are no data associated with Figures 1A, 2A, and 3A because they contain only illustrations of assays. Figures S1B, 2D, S2B, Figure 4, Figure 5C-J, and Figure 6 represent correlations for which the raw data are provided in the Excel tabs where each individual measure was originally presented.
