MIG-seq analysis of Pseudocalanus spp.

Pseudocalanus spp. play a key role in marine food webs as major prey for fish larvae. However, the genetic structures of Pseudocalanus spp. in the western North Pacific remains unknown. Here, single nucleotide polymorphism data of three species of Pseudocalanus spp. (P. acuspes, P. minutus, and P. newmani) were analyzed using multiplexed inter-simple sequence repeat genotyping by sequencing (MIG-seq) to reveal their genetic populations in Okhotsk Sea.
