Determining the Induced Magnetism in Graphene by Polarised Neutron Reflectivity

DOI

This proposal aims to unambiguously understand the proximity effect between graphene and a transition metal using Polarised Neutron Reflectivity (PNR) measurements at the POLREF instrument. Also to clarify whether the induced magnetic moment in graphene is due to the exchange interaction or because of shared electrons at the interface.
