This dataset include microstructure data of turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rates measured using a tow-yo microstructure profiler, Underway-VMP (UVMP), hydrographic data measured using a tow-yo Rinko CTD profiler (URINKO) and by the UVMP, shipboard ADCP data and nitrate concentrations derived using a relation between in-situ nitrate measurements and density of seawater measured using deep-SUNA, water sampling, UVMP and URINKO. These data were obtained in the single observation campaign in the Kuroshio Current flowing near the Hyuganada Sea, off southeast of Kyushu Japan. In addition, topographic data, ETOPO1 and satellite sea surface height data on the observation date, November 25, 2019 are provided.
