Replication Data for: Reintroduction of self-facilitating feedbacks could advance subtidal eelgrass (Zostera marina) restoration in the Dutch Wadden Sea

DOI

In a field experiment carried out in 2021, we aimed to test whether 1) sediment stabilization and 2) hydrodynamic stress relief would facilitate eelgrass survival in a field experiment replicated at two sites in the Dutch Wadden Sea. We induced feedbacks using biodegradable root-mimicking structures (BESE elements) and sandbag barriers. This database contains the data used and analyzed in the manuscript: Survival data of the seagrass, predicted survival (model output), bathymetry changes, current velocity measurements, wave height measurements, light measurements (PPFD).
