DOI

Namen raziskave je bil preučiti reproduktivno zdravje migrantk s poudarkom na stališčih migrantk in zdravstvenega osebja (zdravniki, babice, patronažno osebje itd.) o obstoječih praksah, medkulturnih razlikah, dostopu migrantk do storitev reproduktivnega zdravstvenega varstva in drugem. Podatki so bili zbrani s pomočjo poglobljenih intervjujev izvedenih v obalni regiji (Mestna občina Koper, Občina Izola, Občina Piran). Izhodišča za izvedbo intervjujev z migrantkami so predstavljala vnaprej strukturirana vprašanja, ki pokrivajo naslednja področja: primarna družina in kultura izvora, poroka, partnersko življenje in otroci, integracija, jezik, zdravstvena oskrba, reproduktivno zdravje, diskriminacija, idr. V primeru strokovnega osebja so vprašanja zajemala naslednje vsebinske sklope: odnos in delo z migrantkami, jezik komunikacije, primeri iz prakse, medkulturne razlike, poznavanje zdravstvenega sistema idr.

The purpose of the research was to examine the reproductive health of migrant women, focusing on the views of migrant women and medical staff (doctors, midwives, patronage staff, etc.) on existing practices, intercultural differences, migrant women's access to reproductive health services and similar. Data were collected through in-depth interviews conducted in the coastal region (Municipality of Koper, Municipality of Izola, and Municipality of Piran). The starting points for conducting interviews with migrant women were structured questions covering the following areas: primary family and culture of origin, marriage, partnership life and children, integration, language, health care, reproductive health, discrimination, etc. In the case of professional staff, the questions covered the following areas: attitude and work with migrant women, language of communication, examples from practice, intercultural differences, knowledge of the health system, etc.
