Multibeam data were collected during RV Polarstern cruise ANT-XXVIII/5. Data are unprocessed and may contain outliers and blunders. Therefore the data should not directly be used for grid calculations and charting projects but need to be edited furthermore. The dataset consists of files in HYPACK ASCII rawdata format (.HSX + .RAW). HYPACK data files can be processed using the software packages CARIS HIPS/SIPS or with the open source software package MB-System (Caress et al., MB-System: Mapping the Seafloor,http://www.mbari.org/products/research-software/mb-system/ 2021).Ancillary sound velocity profiles (SVP) for data calibration are part of this dataset publication.
