This dataset includes the data analysed in the manuscript "Efficacy of Heterorhabditis bacteriophora against diapausing larvae of the truffle beetle, Leiodes cinnamomeus". It includes one excel-file with the following information: number of living diapausing larvae of Leiodes cinnamomeus at three different soil depths, as well as the total number across treatment and control tubes. The objective was to determine the efficacy of the nematode Heterorhabditis bacteriophora (treatment tubes) against these diapausing larvae under laboratory conditions simulating a natural environment.

METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION

  1. Description of methods used for collection-generation of data: Data were obtained by counting the number of living diapausing larvae of Leiodes cinnamomeus at three different soil depths, as well as the total number across treatment and control tubes. The objective was to determine the efficacy of the nematode Heterorhabditis bacteriophora against these diapausing larvae under laboratory conditions simulating a natural environment.

  2. Software specific information needed to interpret the data: Program R (4.3.1 version) for statistical analysis, using a generalized linear model with quasipoisson distribution and a log link function.
