Depth profile data of dissolved methane, nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide from the PUPCYCLE II cruise in the California Upwelling System

DOI

This is a dataset of dissolved gas concentration data (CH4, N2O and CO2) and ancillary data (station name, lat, lon, depth, temperature, salinity, stable carbon isotopic measurements of CO2) from the PUPCYCLE II cruise in the California Upwelling system (38°N to 44°N & 121°W-126°W) from May 25, 2023 to June 12, 2023. Dissolved gas samples were collected from Niskin bottles mounted on a Rosette. Ancillary data (temperature and salinity and depth) were collected on the CTD, which was mounted to the Rosette of the RV Sally Ride. This data was collected to study the role of upwelling in the California current system on biogeochemical cycling, particularly for understudied gases of CH4 and N2O.
