The Water Quality research Loosdrecht lakes (W.Q.L.) database consists of measured parameters and reports from the W.Q.L. project. The W.Q.L. project itself started in 1979 and continued for 12 years to study the restoration and recovery of the shallow eutrophic Loosdrecht lakes (the Netherlands), and to evaluate the water management measures taken. During the W.Q.L. many water quality parameters have been measured and based on these measurements reports have been produced. Now, all W.Q.L. project reports from the Limnological Institute and those with permission of its publisher, as well as a database with water quality parameters have been uploaded here. All scanned reports and the parameter database are endproducts of the 'Parels van data' (Pearls of data) project aimed to make the NIOO archive digital available for anyone to use.
