Phage manipulation of the sponge Halichondria panicea microbiome

Experimental manipulation of the sponge Halichondria panicea microbiome under controlled sterile conditions with the application of an active bacteriophage. Microbiome changes within sponge tissue were assessed via Illumina 16S rRNA gene sequencing (V3V4) over three time points during a period of 72h.
