Genome sequencing of the pearl oyster Pinctada fucata to establish haplotype-phased genome assembly

The pearl oyster Pinctada fucata is cultured mainly in western Pacific for pearl aquaculture. The aim of the project is to establish haplotype-phased chromosome-scale genome assembly of this economically important marine bivalve.
