In recent times, Ce based HF compounds have become a promising and active research field in condensed matter physics as one can drive the system towards quantum critical point (QCP) by applying external pressure or chemical doping. Near this QCP few systems are found to exhibit superconductivity which is thought to be mediated by magnetic fluctuations unlike conventional superconductors where phonons play the key role in governing superconductivity. In this frame work, Co doping in CeCu2Ge2 is quite exciting as it drives the system towards QCP. We have performed a systematic study on Ce(Cu1-xCox)2Ge2 and found a possible QCP near x= 0.1. Therefore, we propose to carry out µSR measurements on x=0.0, 0.1 and 1.0 samples to probe the magnetic ordering and spin fluctuations present in the sample near QCP.
